SOLAR ROOFTOP
BRINGING THE ENERGY OF THE FUTURE TO YOU
The rising costs of conventional energy sources have led to a surge in thoughts for using alternative energy sources.
TECHWORTH helps Housing Societies, Business Houses, Hotels & Resorts, institutions such as Schools, Universities, Non-profit Organizations, NGOs in implementing solar energy systems to meet their power needs.
In Schools & Colleges apart from giving sustainable power, solar systems also give students an opportunity to learn and imbibe the spirit of sustainable solar power and conserving the planet.
TECHWORTH provides a range of solutions to take a green step for a brighter tomorrow.
HOW DOES ROOFTOP SOLAR WORK ?
Rooftop solar panels rely on the ability of the solar cells to harness the energy of the sun and convert it to electricity. It is a small, square-shaped semiconductor that is made from conductive materials such as silicon. When sunlight strikes the solar cells, it induces chemical reactions that release the electrons, thus generating electric current.
ROOFTOP SOLAR BENEFITS
- Offsets rising energy costs
- Scalable design for easy upgrades
- RPO Compliance
- Self-reliance
- Green Commitment
- Peak loads during daytime mostly coincides with peak solar generation
- Institution’s idle rooftop space can help in considerable income by selling excess electricity
- Creates environment conscious citizens as students get a hands on solar experience

BUSINESS MODELS WE OFFER
CAPEX & OPEX MODELS
CAPEX MODEL (CAPITAL EXPENDITURE)
This is the most common business model for solar deployment in India. In this model the consumer purchases the solar system, by making 100% of the payment upfront or financing the system, often through a bank.
OPEX MODEL - POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT (UNDER NET METERING)
The entire system is owned by the developer. Rooftop owners consume the electricity generated, for which they pay a pre-decided tariff monthly. Thus, for consumers, it is a low-cost intensive option as compared to CAPEX model where the entire system is owned by the rooftop owners.
